My clients seeking an experienced COMMERCIAL ANALYST to join their busy team This role is a core role within the business, you would be working across finance and sales to ensure the business including senior management has access to perforamce data on areas such customers, products, trade lanes and also new growth wins. Daily Duties: Collate and analyse key financial data to provide valuable analysis and business insight Build data models to help aid business decisions Produce and maintain business KPI reports to assist internal management and/or with commercial decisions Production of sales reporting to provide insight into sales performance and possible areas of improvement Weekly Forecast compilation for review Input - customer performance, uptraders, downtraders & BDM performance Understand key market trends, changing customer requirements and competitor activity Budget - sales and GM data collection and analysis (working with sales). Bid/tender support into BPM. To support to sales team and business on customer reporting Skills needed: Commercial/ business degree or equivalent Previous freight forwarding experience Over 2 years commercial analysis experience Excellent analytical skills Ability to present the data and start to draw insights Self motivated Must be comfortable working with a large volumes of data from multiples data sources Outstanding communication skills
