Finance and Payroll Systems Analyst SSP UK is a leading operator of food and beverage concessions in travel locations, operating restaurants, bars, cafés, food courts, lounges and convenience stores in airports, train stations, motorway service stations and other leisure locations. We are recruiting for a Finance and Payroll Systems Analyst for our Group IT department. The opportunity will be based at our offices in Rubery, Birmingham, B45 9PZ. The Role: To initiate and drive continuous improvement in Finance, Payroll, Legal and Property Solutions, associated systems, processes and policies. Responsible for the successful delivery of prioritised business requirements delivering business processes supported by technology in the areas of Group Finance, Legal, Property and UK Payroll Work closely with senior stakeholders in IT and the business to ensure deliverables are agreed and then executed to agreed budgets and timelines. To support users of Finance and Payroll Systems specifically providing specialist knowledge of business systems and processes. Collaborate in relevant cross function or department initiatives required to deliver business requirements, in an approach that is positive and pragmatic The

Responsibilities:
Evaluate, design, implement, test and deliver appropriate solutions within SSP's business, working with internal and external resource. Work with key stakeholders on leading, resolving and supporting cross process, platform and end-to-end business process issues. Enhance the efficiencies of finance activities, methodologies and environments, working in partnership with IT and external resource as appropriate. Supporting and educating data owners to drive improvement in the integrity of master data and managing how data flows effectively between systems Maintenance of Finance & Payroll Systems Finance, Payroll, Legal and Property Systems developments, change & implementation projects Translating requirements and documentation for all audiences, technical, financial and end-user Providing documentation, support and ad-hoc training to systems users The Skills: Essential Strong ERP systems knowledge with a focus on Finance Understanding of end to end finance processes Proven success in a similar role Proven track record of implementing change Ability to effectively manage relationships with key partners, stakeholders and colleagues First rate communication, inter-personal, and influencing skills Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills Strong organisational skills, including ability to prioritise own workload in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines Excellent Excel skills Willingness to travel to other offices within the UK and abroad Desirable CCAB Qualified Accountant / Strong experience within a Finance Function Knowledge of Payroll Systems Business analyst experience demonstrating the ability to effectively capture requirements at an organisational, process or functional level Experience of working with external suppliers / consultants The Benefits: Along with great career prospects at SSP, we are offering a competitive salary, discounts off a variety of retailers and service providers, up to 50% off our own brands up and down the country and much more This job was originally posted as www.caterer.com/job/88411649
