Why this role matters The Role of Pricing Analyst is to facilitate improvements to mobile pricing through conducting thorough analysis, including alignment, simplification, and integration across Enterprise. It will involve combining customer, product, and competitive level analysis with stakeholder requirements to inform and define the development of pricing strategy, and the implementation of tactical proposals. This role will also work closely with key stakeholders across the business to deliver on current and future business plans, and pricing and proposition development. Including, but not limited to, BT Commercial and Transformation, Customer Solutions, Service, Billing, Finance, Wholesale, TSO and external vendors. What you'll be doing Become the subject matter expert on the end to end mobile pricing process from event to invoice. Be accountable for monitoring pricing performance, conducting competitor analysis and suggesting cost savings or revenue opportunities that support BT pricing strategy. Support pricing and discounting strategy for products and advise on any commercial issues impacting these products. Conduct proposition analysis to support Customer Solutions initiatives and provide relevant analysis led insight into proposition changes. Collaborate with the business to identify reporting opportunities and improvements, interpreting and transforming those opportunities into business requirements. Support Revenue Assurance, and Billing, to ensure the quality of pricing information and integrity of customer invoices. Support Regulatory to impact and implement change so that BT is fully compliant in its obligations. Work pro-actively with key stakeholders within Commercial and Transformation, Customer Solutions, and across the wider Enterprise team. Lead price change projects through the Concept to Market process. Support Go-to-Market plans across multiple sales channels for enhancements or new developments We'll also need to see these on your CV Demonstrable experience working with a mobile operator. A firm understanding of finance, and finance principles, including previous experience in a commercial or pricing role. The ability to apply a structured methodology and lead change activities. Strong analytic, problem solving, and root cause identification skills. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
