Process Overview The FAKC (Finance and Accounting Knowledge Center) was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support and Supply Chain Management. Over the years, the scope of FAKC has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance. Job Description Tax Operations Team is responsible for data management and system support enabling the Tax Accounting & Compliance (TAC) to meet internal and external deliverables. This role is responsible for data loads to various tax software, running administrator level processes within the software, system maintenance and first level system support. In this role we are a liaison with our Finance Technology production support team for issues that cannot be resolved within Tax Operations. This role will also assist or participate in tax initiatives related to tax technology Responsibilities Position primarily responsible for providing system support to our federal compliance tax associates. Oversee the design, configuration, maintenance and trouble shooting of assigned portions of tax software and hardware environments. Assist in projects to develop tools and procedures to improve processes and automate software. Develop tools and procedures to ensure adherence to department policies and system data integrity standards. Development and delivery of compliance/system training materials is expected. Position will support tax compliance returns, data analysis, gap analysis from source systems and assist in enhancement/creation of new applications to support federal tax compliance/planning. Adherence to strict filing deadlines, scheduling flexibility and ability to balance team workloads will be a priority. Requirements Education - CA/MBA in Accounting/Finance/IT Certifications If Any Experience Range-5-8 yrs of experience Mandatory skills Strong knowledge of ERP system preferably SAP and related Excel plug-in EPM Advanced knowledge of Excel, VBA, Access, SQL,, and Sharepoint Ability to assimilate large amounts of information quickly and to understand complex methodologies and issues. Excellent oral/written communication skills Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Highly motivated, able to work independently, self starter; and problem/solving/analytical Good knowledge of Excel, Alteryx, tableau etc Desired skills Excellent communication and analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
