OF POSITIONS 1 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 5 to 10 Years LOCATION Chandigarh EDUCATION MBA Finance or Equivalent (Pass out from Tier 1 colleges) FUNCTIONAL AREA Financial Planner & Strategy Position Summary We are looking for someone to lead the company's Finance operation. They will be responsible for managing the accounts team and ensuring accuracy of all financial statements, managing client contracts, creating a system for billing and collection, AR/ AP management, reconciliation, budgeting and reporting to management and customers. Additionally, they will be performing a deep financial analysis/research to provide guidance to management on future financial plans and key business decisions.This role also requires collaborating with key stakeholders to develop pricing strategies and key short and long term projections for use by partners and potential investors. The goal is to enable the company's leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company's objectives. Maintaining the financial health of the organization by developing corporate fundraising strategies and manage relationships with partners and investors. Role and Responsibilities Lead the team to manage the end to end finance operation- company books, financial statements, monthly reporting, budgets, AR/AP, recon. Communicating with clients and third party vendors for submission of key invoices, credit reporting, and settling any discrepancies. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans. Develop financial models Prepare cost projections and forecast profits Analyze and report on current financial status Conduct thorough research of historical financial data and periodic recons. Explore investment options and present risk and opportunities Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action. Coordinate with the Senior Management and the executive team on long-term financial planning Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement Participate in budgeting (for departments and projects) Review accounting transactions for data accuracy Establish financial policies Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions Driving the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks Excellent organizational and leadership skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and chart Must Have Skills Hands-on experience with basics of accounting & financial management. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management softwares. Nice to Have Skills Proven work experience as a Head of Finance or similar role. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
