DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:Vendor Analysts provide support for Third Party Risk Management programs. Works closely with internal business units, support teams and vendors. Monitors TPRM department mailbox and ensures accurate and timely completion of special projects.JOB FUNCTIONS AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist Business Units in managing vendors to ensure we are meeting all NMS, CFPB, State regulatory requirements as well as investor guidelines
• Develops and maintains strong understanding and relationship with internal businesses, processes and organizations
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Manage the TPRM email box ensuring timely and accurate completion of each request
• Enter requests into the Process Unity system and submit to Senior Management for approval
• Work closely within the department and with other Ocwen departments to ensure their prompt and accurate resolution of any issues or additional documentation required for requests
• Contact vendors to collect documents
• Escalate to and work with support teams to collect all data needed to have a request that can be submitted for approval
• Work within vendor management (i.e. Oracle, Process Unity, SharePoint) and reporting applications
• Create monthly, weekly and daily reports from various databases.
• Analyze data to ensure accuracy of reports
• Work independently
• Multi-task and troubleshoot any issues that arise which may have multiple variables that fall outside stipulated guidelines
• Critical/Analytical thinking skills and ability to solve problems; detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and follow through - this position doesn't run on checklists and is subjective and requires good decision making
• Good communication skills - there is a lot of interaction with all business units and levels of management and with external vendors so good communication both oral and written are required
