Your New Employer We are currently working with a very well known accountancy practice based in Liverpool city centre close to a train station, who are looking for someone to join them as a Senior Accountant, doing a mixture of audit & accounts preparation. This is a new permanent opportunity to join their expanding team. Your New Role With little supervision or line manager input, consistently and accurately prepare final accounts, reviews and benchmarking reports ready for partner review/ to send to client. Ensure working papers files and permanent files are correctly completed and signed off including evidence of review of work done by more junior staff. Prepare draft business tax and superannuation computations for inclusions of provisions in accounts and for discussion at meetings. Attend annual year end client meetings. Be able to prepare VAT returns and annual partial exemption calculations. With little supervision or line manager input, consistently and accurately prepare draft business tax, partnership tax and personal tax calculations and superannuation computations for review/use at meetings. Your Experience & Our Requirements My Client is looking for a knowledgeable Senior Accountant, who has a minimum of 4 years experience within this field. You will ideally be studying towards your ACCA qualification with sufficient experience within a practice accountancy firm. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential progress into a client facing role.
