We are recruiting for a brand-new Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our well-established Finance team; this role has been created as result of company growth and success. You will drive effective planning, insightful management reporting and profit improvements with our non-Financial stakeholders across the business and to share skills and knowledge to your wider Finance team. Building and maintaining close working relations within Finance and the wider business, you will support and challenge performance, as well as develop and deliver weekly/monthly financial reporting to the business where needed. Using your strong influencing skills, you will drive the decision making within the functions supported by accurate analysis, including challenging senior stakeholders and identifying possible risks - supported by identifying solutions where needed. Your other key responsibilities of the role will include:
• Deliver regular updates and presentations for all the required audiences to give a visually meaningful understanding of the spend position, leading the discussing and challenging the results
• Own the month-end accounting processes for your area to ensure accurate reporting of the financial performance
• Upskill other team members, and provide cover across the team to develop a wider knowledge of the business We are looking for someone with experience of working within a commercial environment, and who has experience of reviewing volumes and profitability across a range of products/clients. Ideally you will be educated to degree level and hold a full professional accounting qualification, strong IT skills are required. You must be very numerate and analytical, with strong commercial acumen to evaluate business plans; you will also have an understanding of budgetary control, profit & loss accounts and financial reporting. You will be comfortable supporting and challenging at a senior level, to Finance and non-Financial stakeholders across the business, if you are a good communicator with strong interpersonal skills and are able to communicate effectively at all levels then we would love to hear from you So what can the role offer you?
