Huntress Harlow are recruiting for an Interim Finance Director in Bishops Stortford for a highly successful and rapidly expanding business. This is a superb opportunity for someone with proven experience operating at a similar level to cover a Sabbatical for 4 months. Starting in December, and reporting into the Managing Director with overall responsibility for a small finance team, typical duties and responsibilities will include the following. Leadership of a small finance team with overall responsibility for all Financial Control and FP&A Commercial and strategic support to the Managing Director with weekly updates on financial performance Analysis of accounting procedures and processes to aid in future commercial decision making. Oversee the monthly Management Accounts process as well as the daily, weekly and monthly reporting Reporting of Financial information to the Managing Director Quarterly forecasting Provide support, advice and guidance to the leadership team Ensure consistency and procedures across all areas of the department Show commercial awareness and business partnering across all functions, adding value to the company The successful candidate will be either a Part, or Fully Qualified Accountant, with previous experience in the above areas. You must have the ability to work well in a stakeholder environment, be a strategic thinker with excellent commercial skills, and come from a Financial Controller or Finance Director role.
