I am looking for a Finance Assistant to work for our client within the education sector based in the Carshalton, Surrey area. This will be an ongoing position on a temporary basis for the successful candidate with an immediate start available. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to obtain an Enhanced DBS that is on the update service. Previous experience using the FMS system is essential Pay Rate: £11- £12.00 per hour - Dependent on experience Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30 to 17:30 Responsibilities Include: General accounts administration analysing, coding and inputting financial data Bank reconciliation Purchase and Sales Ledger Invoicing Administering aged debtors and chasing payments Posting and allocating payments. Customer contact via telephone, email and posts with query resolution Reconciling supplier accounts and informing supply chain of scheduled payment dates Planning and prioritising collections and payments to maximise cash receipts and payment profiles Problem escalation and customer service Ensure management procedures are complied with at all times Desirable Skills/Experience: At least 2 year's experience within a similar role Qualified or working towards an accounting qualification Advanced Excel skills Sage and FMS experience Accounting experience Strong numeracy skills Good organisational and interpersonal skills Strong computer literacy (Including Microsoft packages) If you believe you would be suitable for this role and obtain the relevant skills we would love to hear from you Please apply online today with your up to date CV.
