Due to continued growth, a thriving £20m turnover business in Blackburn has an opportunity for an ambitious AAT Qualified Assistant Accountant who is looking for a progressive role and to further their study (CIMA/ACCA). This is an Assistant Management Accountant position, ideal career opportunity with full study package providing: Varied experience across management and financial accounts The chance to get involved in business-critical projects such as integration of a new acquisition Involvement in a major ERP system implementation. As a key part of the finance function this role will give you a broad base of skills which would be ideal to build up experience alongside CIMA/ACCA studies. This role is being recruited with succession planning in mind and you may also be given the opportunity to take on some staff supervisory responsibility in the medium term. To be considered for this role you should be actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA and have a logical career path to date. A proactive nature is essential, strong systems skills are also required and as this is part of a succession planning exercise the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of motivation to qualify within 2 - 3 years and progress their career within the medium term.
