Applicants are invited to apply for the above vacancy within the Group Shared Financial Services Management Accounts Function based at the Port of Liverpool. Role Purpose: To support operational and financial management through reporting, forecasting, analysis and management of financial performance, whilst looking to drive continuous improvement. This role will include the following
responsibilities:
-Preparation of management accounts, forecasting and budgets -Improve and develop the quality and efficiency of financial/management information required throughout the business -Support departmental managers in managing their financial budgets -Support operational teams in producing periodic financial reports and associated financial analysis; exception reporting, reporting trends and key performance indicators -Provide assistance with continuous improvement projects and aid in the transition to SAP Applicants interested in this role should ideally possess the following skills and experience: -CIMA Qualified (up to 2 years Post Qualification Experience) -Relevant management accounting experience -Experience of the manufacturing or logistics sector would be advantageous -Strong IT skills, with knowledge of SAP an advantage but not essential -A team player, with ability to communicate financial matters clearly and confidently to varying stakeholders -Able to multi-task and prioritise workload effectively, and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment -Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation -Able to demonstrate initiative and proactivity Salary and Benefits -25 day holiday plus bank holidays with the option to purchase additional annual leave -Company Pension with Matching Contributions of up to 10% -Life Assurance -Cycle-to-Work Scheme -Car Purchase Scheme -Health Care Cash Plan (Medicash) -Referral Bonus - Discounted retail Vouchers - Discounted gym memberships
