This position will be a key player in the Lumentum organisation.Duties and

Responsibilities:
To manage all aspects of the monthly payroll process ( including administration of new starters and leavers)Liaising with Human Resources in relation to employee updates, information and annual declarations ( including Gender Pay)Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports Assisting the administration of the company pension scheme ( incl. enrolments and monthly declarations)Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits Day to day administration of Concur ( incl review of weekly reimbursement file)Interacting with Benefit consultants in administering salary sacrifice scheme, and payrolled benefits in kindLoad import files received from Workday and other sources Research and email appropriate audience of file issues Interacting with internal and external auditors as required.Respond to employee inquiries and maintain personnel files Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. 5 years' experience processing International payroll CPP preferred but not required. Knowledge/ExperienceWorking knowledge of payroll best practices. General knowledge of UK legislation and regulations. Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel . Working knowledge of External payroll systems Strong work ethic and team player. Proactive attitude with a sense of urgency. High degree of professionalism. Ability to deal sensitively with confidential information. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills. Ability to communicate with various levels of management. Desire to expand to other responsibilities outside of payroll in order to support the finance role Full time
