Bookkeeper / Administration Manager Leicester - Travel required £20,000 - £25,000 SF Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting professional to join a business in Leicester as their Bookkeeper. Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper to oversee the day to day running of the company finances across two sites. This is a standalone Bookkeeping position but the successful Bookkeeper will join the core management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join an ever growing care sector business and become a key member of the managerial team. Due to the nature of the business, you will need to be able to travel between two sites in Leicestershire. Bookkeeping duties Include: - Processing of purchase ledger invoices - Preparation of invoices for approval and payment - Maintaining the Sales ledger & credit control duties - Posting of bank transactions and performance of bank reconciliations - Collation of timesheets and hours for submission to payroll - Management of the outsourced Payroll Bureau service - Assistance with the migration of outsourced payroll to third party service provider - Management of the current accounting system in association with external accountants - Assistance with the implementation of the Microsoft Navision Business Central system in association with third party service provider - Management of petty cash Administration duties include: - Production of monthly newsletter in conjunction with other managers - Development and maintenance of database - Key member of the home management team - Ordering of operational supplies - Stock management and control of consumables (food, stationery etc) - Management of service and supply contracts (eg utilities, repairs and renewals, waste) in conjunction with Group Estates and Procurement Manager - Management of incoming calls and guests - Maintenance of employee records including DBS and Right to Work documentation, implementing and then utilising computerised HR system with support from third party service provider The ideal candidate will have: - Strong interpersonal skills, able to relate to and communicate with staff - Experience of Bookkeeping / administration management. - Competent with Excel - Travel Required - Driving license is desirable The package: - £20,000 - £25,000 - 37.5 hours a week - Flexible working - On site parking If you are interested in this vacancy and would like to find out more, please apply with your most up to date CV or get in touch with Sam Smith at SF Recruitment.
