Our client, a customer-focused accountancy firm who provide bespoke, high-quality tax and accounting services to an array of established clients including charities, are seeking a Tax Senior to join their team based in Alton, Hampshire. Key Duties and Responsibilities Assume responsibility and taking a proactive role in the management of a portfolio of clients and controlling the completion of work arising from the clients. Review personal tax and partnership returns prepared by junior members of the team. Prepare more complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships and trusts. Delegate workload amongst staff to ensure efficient and timely service. Manage personal tax technical advisory projects including CGT and IHT planning, alongside assisting with research. Collaborating with Tax Managers and Directors on technical advisory projects and research if required. Liaise with HM Revenue and Customs, clients and the accounts department to obtain necessary information and meet essential deadlines. Assist with and manage the compliance for other taxes including forms P11D, basic corporation tax matters, forms 42 and EMI40s. Undertake training of junior staff and apprentices as the need arises.
