Pertemps are currently working with a leading CA Firm based in Glasgow City Centre who have a requirement for and experienced Accounts Assistant to work within the Business Advisory Department. This role offers an excellent salary and great benefits. Key

responsibilities:
Planning assignments Preparation of accounts for partnerships and sole traders Preparation of accounts for audit exempt companies and online filing Preparation of charity accounts Preparation of management accounts including reconciliation of key control accounts Taking ownership of assignments from planning through to completion Preparation of draft tax computations and online filing VAT return preparation Bookkeeping Provision of software training to clients Assist in the development and management of the department control and administration procedures To be successful in this role you must have experience of working in a public practice. As first point of contact for many clients, you must be an excellent communicator. You must have a positive and confident approach to work. Ideally you will be educated to degree or Accounting Technician level or equivalent and be working towards ACCA Qualification. Skills required: Appropriate experience in preparation of accounts for audit exempt, sole traders and partnerships Competent in the use of accounts preparation software Competent in the use of software packages such as Sage, Quickbooks, Xero Excellent day to day use of the Microsoft suite (eg, Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) To find out more please contact Linda Currie and apply on the link below.
