Division Our Airframe Systems division brings together an extensive range of skills and abilities to support some of the world's leading commercial, business and military aircraft manufacturers Across its five product groups, Airframe Systems produces a host of world leading technology. Our Braking Systems product group supplies both military and commercial aircrafts. W e seal essential spaces, such as landing gear, wings, engines, nacelles, windows and doors, and produce intelligent air data systems and sensors that measure altitude, angle or acceleration. These sensors can be used on planes, train control systems or even missile control systems. Whether it's developing new radome solutions, fuel delivery systems or high-altitude life support systems, the Airframe Systems embodies the innovation at the heart of Meggitt. Summary The Finance Manager will be a key member of the site finance team. They will be required to support and partner with the wider business ensuring finance information is clearly communicated, understood and variances acted upon. As part of a wider site finance team they will also be involved with key processes and activities to help maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function. They will need a solid understanding of the operational business they support and will need to be able to adapt to changing business priorities. Deliverables Partners with the business ensuring key financial metrics communicated and understood Prepares annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting, variance analysis and articulation of financial results Delivers month end financials, period to period variance analysis, and key metrics reporting Finance lead for investment papers associated with footprint activity, ensuring post implementation reviews completed Ensures robust processes are in place and actively work to improve and streamline where possible Works with Site finance team to ensure broader processes are managed across both Product Groups Accurately reports the financial results of Meggitt's operations in accordance with Generally Accepted Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Key Attributes Education: Professional finance Qualification (CIMA/ ACCA/ACA) with minimum of 3 years post qualified experience Skills: Manufacturing background Ability to manage multiple demands and prioritise effectively Engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders to ensure financial commitments are understood and agreed Strong excel and ERP skills (SAP preferable) Personal resilience and an ability to work under pressure Proven ability to improve processes Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence, while exercising sensitivity to the audience Able to anticipate future issues/ challenges and make recommendations
