For more information, visit .We're looking for a high performing Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Financial Control team based in Green Park, Reading. The role is a core part of the UK BU financial reporting process. It has three core areas of responsibilities which are fundamental. Firstly, managing the Fixed Asset close process including GCS control responsibilities and policy adherence. Next is full responsibility for managing the Balance Sheet Review process including coordination of all meetings, oversight of the preparation of the BSR package and timely clearance of actions points. This links closely with a separate control related to the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process. Finally, this role has responsibility for reporting the appropriate restructuring balance sheet accruals and related gains / losses which involves close liaison with the Transformation team on projects which are highly confidential. There are additional financial reporting activities that this role takes care such as Fall-in Fall-out, Quality of Earnings and impairments reviews.Key

responsibilities:
Responsible for the monthly close of the Fixed Asset ledgers with 1 direct IBM report in Chennai, including reviews of fixed asset numbers, approval of FA journals and driving policy compliance through site scorecards, along with other external outputsControl Owner and SME on Fixed Asset processes. Driving fixed asset policy compliance across all sites with the support of the Process Owner, including close management of fixed asset counts at sites and at the Reading officeResponsible for the Quarterly Balance Sheet Review (BSR) Process for the UK, Ireland and UK Beverage Franchise operation, including robust review and challenge of BSR commentaries, timely follow-up and resolution of key actions and preparation of materials for CEO, CFO and Controller sign-offOversight of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations process and ensuring high quality reviews performed by the wider Finance teams. Supports the Process Owner on walkthroughs and for sign offsPreparation of Capex cash flows forecasting for input into te BU forecasting process. Drives continuous improvement in capital cash flows forecasts through close coordination with the Project Engineering team at the manufacturing sitesResponsible for accurate reporting of confidential Restructuring Activities, coordinating closely with UK Planning and Corporate Control teamsResponsible for prescribed financial reporting each period to the Sector and quarter including accruals Fall-in Fall-out, Quality of Earnings, headcount reporting and restructuring activitiesPerforms the annual impairment reviews analysis as instructed by the Sector Control team, working with the FPA team for the forecastsResponsible for UK rent, rates & insurance accounting processes, including forecasting and reporting, and supervision of activities performed by an IBM direct reportDrive continuous improvements including simplifications, process or control remediationsBeing flexible for other ad-hoc tasks, including team related initiatives, projects, etcQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's degree and a professional accounting qualification - ACA / ACCA with first time passes desirableKnowledge of US GAAP and IFRSStrong written and oral communication skillsProactive and curious approachExcellent collaboration skills and ability to influenceExperience of building cross functional relationshipsRelocation Eligible: Not ApplicableJob Type: PipelineWe are an equal opportunity employer and comply with the Equality Act 2010, we value diversity at our company; it is an essential part of our success.
