Tradition is currently seeking to appoint a Risk Specialist/Generalist to be based within the London office. Main responsibilities within the Risk Specialist/Generalist position include: EWRM Interacting with first line of defence ("1LOD") functions to embed EWRM Assisting with maintenance of policy/procedure documentation RCSA Assisting with facilitation of Risk and Control Self Assessments ("RCSA") and capture of results in the OneSumX system Configuring the OneSumX system for optimal usage by TLG and its overseas branches Testing the OneSumX system for upgrades and patches Assisting with the collection of KRI data Monitoring compliance with Board Risk Appetite statements Assisting with provision of risk training (including induction to new joiners) Issues & Incidents Ensuring the workflows in OneSumX are operating effectively Liaising with PwC and TLG management regarding open internal audit points, following up to closure Escalating concerns to Risk department management ICAAP Establishing and documenting robust procedures for generating Pillar 2A risk capital numbers Generating Pillar 2A risk capital numbers Maintaining the integrity of the Operational Risk capital calculation system and its inputs Contributing to stress testing and scenario analysis workshops (Pillar 2B) Team Contributing material and ideas to the Risk Workshop Completing assigned actions as part of Risk department project work-streams Contributing to a spirit of teamwork and unity among Risk department members that encourages an appreciation of diversity, cohesiveness, supportiveness, and working together effectively to enable each employee and the department to achieve its goals Communicating in a friendly, helpful and non-prejudicial manner with all relevant internal and external stakeholders Representing the Risk department positively in interactions with other functions Sharing knowledge with and training other members of the department Governance Contributing to Business Continuity Planning; member of BCP working group Undertaking and passing all necessary training in line with the requirements of the role Adhering to all Tradition policies and applicable legislation Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role: Good knowledge of enterprise-wide risk management and associated best practice Previous experience in similar role would be advantageous Risk, regulatory or compliance qualifications would be advantageous OneSumX experience would be beneficial Knowledge of quantitative techniques and statistical mathematics would be beneficial Excellent Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel
