Accounts Assistant Due to expansion I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy solicitors office based in Northampton. Reporting to the Accounts Manager you will be involved in the day to day running of the Accounts Department, inputting accounts accurately and in accordance with procedure's whilst being compliant. Potentially assisting other branches as and when required. Key Duties and Responsibilities Deal with outgoing electronic transfers for fee earners and to notify fee earners upon receipt of funds. Complete daily banking ensuring cheques are paid into the correct bank account, raising cheques as required ensuring funds are available and maintain petty cash. Review client account ledgers to ensure transfers between client and office are promptly processed. Process Purchase Ledger invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will come from a legal background and have knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules. Experience of SOS and Quill packages desirable but not essential. This is a full-time, permanent position working from Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with private parking available. If you have the relevant experience, then please send me your CV for consideration.
