We're working with the Group Financial Controller of a well known Nottingham based PLC in their search to recruit a Senior Financial Reporting Manager. The organisation place financial accounting & reporting as a high priority and as this is a group role, encompassing all group businesses in the UK&I, you'll have the opportunity to influence the future onward direction of the business in working with a range of high profile stakeholders (including the COO & CFO) across the business in ensuring the right messages are communicated (including feeding into the annual reports and results presentations) and actions followed through. As Senior Financial Reporting Manager it's essential you're a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA), likely trained in a Top 10 / Big 4 Accountancy practice before then moving into industry into a Financial Accounting / Reporting focussed role within a medium to large sized business (PLC experience is not essential but is desirable). You'll play a crucial role in supporting the Group FC in preparing information for the annual results presentation, including taking a lead role in ensuring the accurate & timely production of annual accounts for a broad range of group subsidiary companies. You'll also take a lead role in providing a range of information that supports the annual budget planning process, working with a wide range of stakeholders from across the business.
