About the Trust OPEN is a multi-purpose venue, in the heart of Norwich, committed to delivering world class live music and outstanding conference facilities, which funds OPEN Youth Trust, a charity that provides opportunities that make a positive difference to the lives of young people in Norfolk. About the Role We are looking for an experienced, qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, Finance Manager to oversee the Finance Team on a fixed term basis. The suitable candidate will be responsible for the preparation, development and analysis of key financial information enabling the Trust's leadership and Trustees to make well informed decisions regarding the services stability and sustainability of the Charity and its Commercial services. This position is key within the Trust and building effective working relationships is fundamental to its success as the post holder will be working closely with budget holders, co-ordinating the annual budget process to deliver a draft budget to the Board of Trustees for their approval. You will lead, monitor, appraise, develop and motivate your team, managing the everyday finance function, including payroll and ensuring that the Trust is compliant with all statutory requirements. Detailed Responsibilities To maintain financial policies and the financial reporting systems, updating where appropriate. Prepare the monthly accounts in a timely manner for presentation to the General Manager and Trustees Ensure banking, debtors and creditors are managed in a timely and efficient manner. Co-ordinate the annual budget process and deliver a draft budget to the Trust's Leadership Team. Monitor and manage the working capital of the Trust, including cash flow. Maintain the fixed asset register and verify physical existence of assets. Preparation and presentation of other financial data as requested on an ad hoc basis. Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are maintained and any variances reviewed are necessary.
