Assistant Finance Business Partner: Ageas have a great opportunity for an account's professional who is nearly/newly qualified and looking for a great opportunity within a large growing business to develop their business partnering skills. Our aim as the Finance Business Reporting Team is to be the Centre of excellence for value added financial business reporting, collaborating across finance to deliver continuous improvement. The role has responsibility for providing FP&A services across all channels and on the underwriting performance of Ageas' insurance products. The key objectives of the Assistant Finance Business Partner role will focus on developing effective stakeholder relationships, analysing and manipulating performance data, as well as supporting monthly performance management processes. The main responsibilities of the Assistant Finance Business Partner include: Produce consolidated reporting packs in line with requirements, with close attention to detail, maintaining accurate working schedules to track key variances to support commentaries Input into month end commentaries and liaising with other members of FP&A in understanding key variances, assisting in the preparation of speaker notes and supporting analysis Maintain and manage timetables for actuals reporting, ensuring efficient and timely processes to facilitate adherence to deadlines Define planning timetable, having consulted BPs, and support in driving the planning process promoting consistency in budget & forecast collection Assist in the delivery of Group reporting requirements ensuring reconciliation to local reporting Proving adhoc support and reporting as required by stakeholders The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience; A Qualified or nearly qualified accountant with previous FP&A or similar role experience. Previous experience of operating in a similar role within a regulated multi divisional, matrix driven organisation. Experience of critically reviewing processes on a regular basis and providing inputs for continuous improvement. Commercial awareness: Knowledge and understanding of the company's products and the market in which they compete, with the commercial capability to evaluate, critique and challenging business performance in a constructive manner. Communication: Highly developed listening, communication, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to process and present both explain financial concepts to diverse audiences. Building relationships: Proven ability to support other members of the team and foster good working relationships with various levels of management, internally and externally. Demonstrates timely and open communication and adopts appropriate behaviour when dealing with others.
