Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. We're working with a global organisation based in the heart of the city who are looking for a Head of Finance on a 14 month assignment. Working closely with the senior management team and overseeing an experienced finance function you will be joining an organisation who have a wide reach throughout the world. The role will be hands-on in nature from leading financial reporting for both the charity and commercial arm through to statutory audits and controls. This opportunity will develop current finance processes, consolidate management accounts while analysing financial position. Due to the nature of the organisation you will be working with donors, project funding and need to be able to report under SORP. The organisation have several overseas entities that fall under the UK accounts therefore requiring someone who can extract relevant information from contacts within these territories in a timely manner to produce final accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis. The successful applicant will be qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with prior experience in a charity/ not for profit environment and an understanding of charity accounts. You will be able to commence work in December and commit to the full duration of the contract, there will be a handover period both prior and post maternity cover.
