Head of Finance - Cambridge - Technology Robert Half Cambridge are proud to be working on a exclusive basis with a FTSE listed Technology business based in the centre of Cambridge. Reporting to and working closely the CFO, the successful candidate will be an (ACA or ACCA) qualified accountant with significant PLC and international group reporting experience. The Role of Head of Finance includes: (but not be limited to) Taking ownership of day to day operations in the Finance department Maintaining, developing and controlling delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting including the consolidated management accounts for management and board packs Coordinating and controlling the annual and half year audits with external auditors Production of statutory annual, RNS and half year reports for group and subsidiaries Production of all relevant returns for UK and foreign subsidiaries Control of tax reporting, VAT, intrastat and local tax compliance Reporting on company share options, block listings and processing sales. Control of intercompany tax compliance Production of group payrolls Production of R&D tax calculations Management of treasury, Fx, global banking and payments Production, reporting of budgets and forecasts Monitoring expenditure and capex Ensuring compliance with current regulations IFRS, AIM listed, International compliance and internal policies Analysing financial data and providing reports suitable for the audience Maintaining, developing and implementing finance systems and policies Day to day leadership of the finance team (6 people) To be considered for the role of Head of Finance: Professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA) Strong technical accounting knowledge International experience and consolidation of international entities Experience of UK GAAP and IFRS R&D and Technology experience would be helpful Strong investigatory skills - able to discover, analyse and resolve transactional issues that arise.
