This Leading Travel and Tourism business based in Newmarket have a Temporary Accounts Clerk role based in Newmarket. This role is to come in and clear a backlog of invoices and work across purchase and sales ledger along with assisting in banking and reconciliations.

This leading Travel and Tourism business based in Newmarket have a reputation of leading from the front in the critical services they provide across the country. With a changing finance function they are looking for a Temporary Accounts Clerk to come in at short notice and add value as soon as possible to the invoicing and credit processes.

Description

The Temporary Accounts Clerk will be responsible for:

  • Ensure all purchase ledger invoices and employee expenses are processed
  • Resolve supplier queries
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements and bank accounts
  • Responsibility for the smooth running of BACs payment runs
  • Supporting the senior team with month end reports
  • Assist with the improvement of internal processes
  • Sales Ledger, Payroll and Credit Control duties to a greater of lesser degree

Profile

The successful candidate for the Temporary Accounts Clerk requires:

  • Pursuing their AAT.
  • Experience user in Excel.
  • Prior accounts payable and receivable expertise.
  • Immediately available or on 1 weeks notice period maximum.
  • Locally based and commutable without parking on site.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on your own.
  • The desire to input into the improvement of the finance function.
