You will work for a development and investment company based in the Derry area. This is a well-established, innovative and forward thinking company who continue to increase their market share throughout NI and the UK.

Your new role
As Company Accountant you will play a key role in the further and continued development of this company. Reporting to the Chief Executive and Group Directors you will be responsible for financial aspects of the company strategy advising on the best path of growth for the business, analysing figures and implementing recommendations. You will work with the senior directors to grow the business formulating plans, lead and manage the budgeting process, formulation of targets, preparation and submission of weekly and monthly updates, review and presentation of annual accounts, capital expenditure, insurance/risk management and ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met.

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant with 5 years PQE
• Excellent business acumen and commercially aware
• Ability to lead a team
• Exceptional communication skills at all levels
• Ability to handle critical decision making
• Strong IT skills with the knowledge and ability to implement changes
• Focused, ambitious and self motivated to drive the business forward
