With the recent growth of the company, this is a brand new role to join an ambitious and growing retail business. The Financial Reporting Manager role is a great opportunity for a newly qualified, hard working and personable accountant looking for a first move into Industry or industry trained.

Client Details

An ambitious and acquisitive business, based near Didcot. Due to recent business growth, this is a new role within their expanding finance team.

Description

The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for:

  • Financial Analysis
  • Production and development of key performance indicators
  • Month end management accounts
  • Year end audit reporting
  • Systems oversight and process management
  • Supporting acquisitions including due diligence and integration of new businesses
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Line management of management Accountant

Profile

Key attributes/skills are :

  • Qualified accountant with experience of managing and developing a team
  • Demonstrable management accounting experience supported by good technical competencies
  • Confident preparing year-end accounts and working with auditors to efficiently deliver the external audit process
  • Attention to detail and willing to be hands-on
  • Able to manage and deliver multiple tasks/priorities on time
  • Confident communicating financial issues with non-finance teams
  • Strong computer skills utilising Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
