Position Description Overview Understand the BU functions & delivery model Build & execute transition plan with out impact to clients Consider cross project impacts. Transition of ownership and control all offshore project deliverables. Review project requirements and change requests, estimate offshore work efforts and plan technical delivery timelines during transition. Support and co-ordinate with BU Test team in planning of transition of work from vendor partners to OAs Perform final quality review of all transition deliverables developed by the team Coordinate with BU leads and SMEs Provide updates to BU leads and SMEs Provide input to transition implementation plan and provide transition and post transition support Weekly reporting to Transition Governance and Sponsors Co-ordination with support groups Periodic review of risks and mitigation plans Performs other duties as required Job Responsibilities Is responsible for managing people, hiring, firing, performance reviews and compensation. Provides guidance, planning and direction for functional units supported. Proactively allocates resources and maintains and controls expenses. Recommends strategy for functional and business units supported and ensures the implementation of high-end, business-wide, critical strategy set by senior management. Performs additional job duties as required. Scope of Job Manages two or more diverse functional units. Is the leader for assigned resources. Coaches direct reports and subordinates within the functional units supported. Job Requirements Requires 6 years of related technical and business experience. Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications. Has strong knowledge of IT systems, practices and functional units. Strong knowledge of multiple languages and tools. Provides technical consultation to the business units supported. Has expert knowledge of business operations, policies and practices. Has strong knowledge of the industry supported.
