Director I, Tax Provision Irving Texas United States Job Description Fluor Corporation NYSEFLR), a Fortune 500 company, is one of the largest professional services firms, providing engineering, procurement, construction, fabrication and modularization, commissioning and maintenance, as well as project management services, on a global basis. Fluor's Corporate Tax Department is seeking a Director, Tax Provision at the Company's headquarters office located in Irving, Texas. Duties will include Direct the preparation of tax provisions and tax related financial reporting data, including compliance with ASC 740 Responsible for maintaining deferred tax detail and tax liability accounts Recommend the appropriate amount of reserves for current and potential tax issues Overall responsibility for tax departments Sarbanes Oxley compliance efforts Tax analysis and reporting as it applies to the Companys financial forecast and long range business plan Be the primary liaison with external and internal auditors Identification of and the implementation of key tax process improvements Manage significant projects as needed by executive Tax management Review of complex federal corporate and partnership returns Research and ensure adherence to new tax laws Assist with Federal audits Other related duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements Must have Bachelors degree in accounting or related field CPA Certification required 10 years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm and/or large multinational company 4 years of recent experience in preparing/reviewing the tax provision for a multinational publicly traded company 4 years of managerial experience Other Job Requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in Taxation Degree Required Yes Requisition Number 120683BR Diverse Workforce We reserve the right to modify or revise the job descriptions in part or in its entirety.
