We are currently seeking an ACCOUNTANT for our Danbury, CT facility. This position will be the finance person for one or more ISR sites for creation and posting of journal entries and assuring adequate support and documentation. Additional duties include Analysis/review of allocation entries. Account Reconciliations monthly, including analysis and problem resolution Work with Manager of Accounting to communicate with site controllers and finance staff on any non-standard journal entries that arise or account balance fluctuations Review of departmental journal entries for accuracy, as required Work with Accounting Manager in preparation/review of corporate financial reporting and analyses, monthly, and quarterly Perform various detailed month-end journal entries, allocations, and analysis to support business units during month-end closing Audit support as required (Internal, External DCAA) Education / Certifications Bachelors Degree in Accounting Experience / Qualifications Excellent Excel Skills (V Lookup, Macros, Pivot Tables) Willingness to work effectively in team environment Capable of working in a deadline-oriented environment Strong verbal skills 2 - 5 years of accounting experience Salaried position candidate must be willing and able to work more than 40 hours per week Due to government contract requirements, sole US Citizenship, and not dual citizenship with another country, is required.
