JOB DESCRIPTION Currently GBS is looking for a suitable candidate who will be part of the Accounting to Report team. Currently the team handles a diverse set of accounting activities for the EMEA entities. Having recently transferred a number of new entities to their scope there are multiple opportunities in which an intern could add value. Ongoing projects include; - Standardizing activities recently added to their scope; - An assessment of the current business partner model; - Building on the existing lean culture to guide service delivery to the next level; - Process improvement from a technology and automation perspective (RPA, VBA etc.) The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in and learn about the Accounting to Report / General Ledger side of the business including monthly review meetings and team meetings, as well as get exposure to the following tools SAP, MS Suites (Excel, Word etc), Cadency. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Enthusiastic students on bachelor or master level; Analytical and critical mindset; Good communication skills; Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; Attentive to details (accurate); Good knowledge of Microsoft Suites (Excel, Word, etc.); Fluent in English and another European language would be preferred Prior exposure to LEAN is an asset Ability to take initiatives and responsibilities is an asset; WHAT WE OFFER The Global Business Services (GBS) EMEA team is an international department within BSc organized around 3 main locations (Kerkrade, Warsaw and New Delhi) that support the EMEA Business.
