Heyland Finance are working exclusively with this innovative manufacturing organisation as they look to recruit a talented Finance Analyst into their growing Finance team at their head office in Prescott. The Finance Analyst will work with the Financial Controller and the finance team to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in conjunction with managers. Provide information in conjunction with the Financial Controller for management by assembling and summarising data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations. Key Responsibilities; Implementation and maintenance of the pricing model Review and maintenance of standard costing New product development costing Margin analysis and maintenance of data within MRP system Working closely with department heads, including supporting the sales team with key client and project margin/profitability analysis Overhead apportionment and labour analysis Control of pricing databases Providing support to the sales team to report performance statistics Analysis and validation of manufacturing yields for labour, materials and wastage Working closely with department heads for budgeting and forecasting Working on ad-hoc projects/analyses including systems user-acceptance testing. Track financial status by monitoring variances from plan. Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data Building financial models and performing a valuation analysis as well as assisting in the management and execution of due diligence processes Being a financial support to operational and sales teams to drive better reporting Create monthly expense reports/ P&Ls and provide variance analysis for management review Required Skills / Attributes; A driven and motivated team player with strong finance, forecasting and analytical skills Strong oral and written communication skills, with the confidence to question and challenge other areas of the business Ability to convey financial information to both finance and non-finance managers Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and macros Aptitude of working in a similar data analyst role Experience of working in a manufacturing environment for at least 3 years
