I help to make a difference As a member of the Finance team you'll play an integral role in the Health in Justice service within Care UK's Health Care Division. Focused with an eye for detail, you'll excel at developing relationships with operational colleagues and supporting the Heads of Healthcare within our Midlands region (12 sites in Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Worcestershire). You'll support the Senior Finance Manager in driving enhanced business performance and decision making, supported by the proactive utilisation of financial information and business analysis and the successful implementation of new projects. About the role You'll support the Senior Finance Manager in driving enhanced business performance and decision making, supported by the proactive utilisation of financial information and business analysis and the successful implementation of new projects. This will rely on you engaging with key stakeholders, by maintaining clear communications and visiting sites and head offices when required. Using your competencies in the technical aspects of accountancy, you'll manage reporting for a number of operating units including the preparation of financial and non-financial information along with detailed commentaries; manage forecasting and annual budgeting processes, ownership of management information, monitoring performance against contracted targets and understanding market trends, risks and opportunities. More information Interviews to be held between 25th-29th November 2019 - date TBC The salary for this role is between £45,000 - £55,000 - dependent on experience, plus 10% performance related bonus. The base of this role will either be in our regional office in Wolverhampton or head office in Reading. You'll be required to work flexibly within this role, with regular travel between sites, as well as head office and regional offices as and when required. Some home working is available and is to be discussed at interview. This role is subject to Care UK terms and conditions and offers of employment are subject to successful receipt of references and a standard DBS check. You'll be a qualified accountant with post-qualification experience within the health sector. You'll be able to utilise your strong financial analyst and commercial experience (reviewing contracts / negotiating with stakeholders), as well as demonstrating your proven track record of implementing change programmes. You'll have a keen eye for detail, possess sound competency in Microsoft Office packages and be able to work flexibly, to prioritise tasks, manage your time and meet tight deadlines accordingly. It goes without saying that you'll have great communication skills and be able to influence the operations of the business.
