FINANCE MANAGER £40000 - £50000 28DAYS HOLIDAY, FREE PARKING, COMPANY PENSION, PAY REVIEWS, MON-FRI 8:30AM-5PM You have an exciting opportunity to manage the finances of a diverse and innotive manufacturing/construction business that supply/work throughout the UK. The multi million pound company are in the need of innotive, process driven and strategic finance professional who will form part of the senior management team, managing the finance team and reporting to the board of directors. The Finance Manager of the company will oversee the production of figures and forecasts. You will be required to streamline processes and implement systems to accommodate the continued growth which is being enjoyed by the company. The role will involve getting the accounts upto trial balance and working with the external accountants. Two important things ideally required to be successful with this business - Construction/Manufacturing background and personality. The finance team consists of an accounts assistant and an assistant management accountant who will require coachinging to help progress their careers/knowledge, appraisals and regular 121's. You will need to be a team player, approachable, good communicator and have the ability to work with other departments in the business. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure accounting records are maintained on a timely and accurate basis Provide accurate concise information to Directors and/or managers promptly Ensure cash-flow is maintained to support the business Communicate, when necessary, with customer purchasing and/or accounts department regarding credit levels and account performance Ensure wages/salaries are completed on a monthly basis Input information into computerised accounts system Prepare the year-end audit file to ensure that all information is ready and available in time for audits Follow and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) at all times Ensure non-conformities are reported promptly and investigated appropriately Experience and Technical Skills Required CIMA (or equivalent) qualified or with relevant experience PC Literate including a good knowledge of Sage, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook If you're the person for this great opportunity, then apply now
