We're currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our client within the public sector on a 12 month contract based in Hertfordshire paying £30p/h. Minimum Requirement: 1) Previous NHS Experience 2) Experience with budget monitoring/forecasting 3) Excel skills, advanced ideally - comfortable with pivot tables and large data 3) AAT qualification essential and ideally CCAB Part Qualified Day to Day duties include: 1) Budget monitoring (month end process) 2) Costing 3) Forecasts 4) Managing the charges to CCGs 5) Supervising payments made to GPS 6) They will be also responsible for a band 5 payment supervisor that will be coming into post in the next few months. Security Clearance: BPSS CV Deadline: Wednesday 23rd 2pm Interview Process: face to face Description: As Finance Manager, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service which supports managers and staff across the East of England region to: Deliver an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Regional Team to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe services in line with national and sub national policy objectives. Support the Finance Senior Manager to develop and deliver effective financial plans for all aspects of Primary Care which support overall delivery of national and local priorities and work within available funding to support Commissioning. Undertake financial and information analysis across a range of services, including and not limited to, budget setting and monitoring, and activity and cost analysis. Support delivery of the management accounts function within the remit of the post. Provide a regular financial position, forecast and risks within the remit of the post.
