Cathedral Appointments are currently seeking a Financial Controller for our client's highly regarded training provider based in Exeter. Your role will be to manage all financial aspects of the company's business strategy whilst ensuring that financial information is provided in an accurate and timely manner to key internal and external stakeholders. To be successful in this role you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with previous experience in a corporate Financial Controller, Financial Manager or similar role. IFRS knowledge is also essential.

Responsibilities:
Taking control of all financial aspects of the company's business strategy Overseeing and managing risk and financial administration Heading up change implementation Producing and reviewing accounts, budgets etc. Creating and maintaining relationships with advisors, auditors and other key figures Ensuring tax compliance through good record keeping and clearance with advisors Requirements: A qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Financial Manager Experience in a corporate environment with IFRS knowledge Fantastic numerical and analytical ability IT skills (Microsoft Office) Ideally some experience running or overseeing IT development (not essential) This role will pay a competitive salary and would be an excellent opportunity to join a market leader in an exciting and varied role.
