1.To proactively manage rent and service charge accounts across the homeownership portfolio. To monitor and report on progress. 2. To ensure homeowners are made aware of rent and service charge debt. 3. To take appropriate action in line with policy and procedure to recover outstanding rent and service charge payments. 4. Apply knowledge of Leasehold legislation 5. Provide comprehensive advice and information to homeowners on service charge and rent payments. 6. Communicate with residents, offering basic advice on debt prevention, benefits entitlement and welfare reforms. Signposting and referring customers to debt advice agencies explaining legal implications of non-compliance. 7. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with work colleagues to ensure a one team approach to the delivery of our services whilst meeting individual and team key performance indicators and targets. 8. Ensure that non-payers are referred in a timely way for legal recovery with supporting information, including applying for money judgements. 9. Present cases at court / First Tier Tribunal to give evidence as required. Support other team members who attend and represent the business in related matters. 10. Review, maintain and report on the processing of Direct Debits for all Leasehold and Shared Ownership properties.
