Are you looking for an opportunity to join a busy finance team in a progressive company? This is a full time, permanent position working as Purchase Ledger Clerk in Adderbury, supporting a number of Company sites throughout Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Buckinghamshire. The hours of work will be 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday (30 mins for lunch) The purpose of this role is to implement the Purchase Ledger process for the company in line with agreed processes and procedures to ensure that supplier invoices are paid in a timely manner. As Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for: Matching purchase invoices with delivery notes Processing of direct delivery invoices Resolving queries with branches Resolving queries with suppliers Raising and chasing debit notes Processing invoices General Accounts Office filing Posting non-stock invoices to purchase ledger Processing of all BACS and cheque payments Resolving queries on non-stock invoices with other departments and suppliers Supplier statement reconciliation You must be/have: Enthusiastic, confident, motivated individual Have the ability to work independently, and as part of a team Excellent communication and people skills Competent in numeracy and literacy Possess good IT skills including, Microsoft Word and Excel A driving licence and transport due to location
