CompetitiveThe EU Fashion Finance team has an opening for an experienced, highly analytical, and ambitious individual to join our team in London as a Senior Finance Manager for FP&A. EU Fashion is one of the fastest growing businesses for Amazon globally where we are working to be each customer's most loved fashion destination.The Senior Finance Manager will collaborate with the Pan EU Fashion Finance Director, CFO to drive strategic direction of the function, lead the core finance process and is responsible for the Month-End working closely with central FP&A teams and accounting. You are also expect to get involved in supporting new projects and initiatives, driving and auditing performance, benchmarking and building plans for the future.This diverse role requires exceptional prioritization and a good balance between the diving deep into details and framing within the big picture. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables, with excellent communication skills and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced dynamic environment, have a strong appetite to learn new skills and processes, and will be a creative and analytical problem solver with the opportunity to fulfil the Amazon motto to "Work Hard. Responsibilities:
• Ownership of metrics and reporting for the Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly EU Fashion business reviews;
• Ownership of the monthly and quarterly EU Fashion commentary to EU M-team, Lux & SEA FP&A teams and other stakeholders like country teams.
• Support the overall planning process for Fashion covering month/end closure process (inc. variance analysis) and P&L and BS forecasting (updates);
• Be key contact point for our centralized FP&A teams in Luxembourg and Seattle, USA.
• Analyze month-end financial results, working closely with finance business partners to communicate the big picture to senior leadership
• Manage a team of 2 finance analysts and offshore resourceBasic qualifications
• Demonstrable years of relevant experience in business, finance, consulting or similar field
• Will have worked in an FP&A position within a Retail Finance team
• Will have experience with Python programming language
• Must have demonstrable evidence of creating strategy models.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a passion for metrics, very comfortable working with complex data and building highly analytical models, quickly able to turn insights into action
• Ability to earn trust with business partners while challenging results
• Must demonstrate fluency in English language both written and verbal.
• Must have a demonstrable track record of delivering results.
• Must show evidence of using data to inform decisionsPreferred qualification
• Accounting, Business Control qualification or MBA
• Programming experience, with knowledge of SQL
• Advanced Excel
