Liaising closely with the Directors, as Company Accountant you will undertake a varied and dynamic role, to include establishing & guiding a finance team, which will challenge you to progress your career and bring your abilities to the next level. This would be an ideal role for a candidate with at least 2 years' financial accounting experience who is seeking to gain further commercial experience and add real value to the business from day one. The role could be an excellent first industry move for a candidate from a mixed practice background. What the role involves; Setting up and guiding a new finance team Taking full responsibility for all aspects of an accounting function within the business Selection and implementation of systems and processes Ensuring robust and compliant controls are in place to support future growth Identifying and implementing system & process improvements Preparation & analysis of management accounts and reporting Preparation of financial accounts and statutory returns (UK & ROI) Budgeting and forecasting, with presentation of analysis to the wider Group To be considered for this role, candidates must be fully qualified with at least two years' experience, a high degree of commercial acumen, and a commitment to ongoing development of the finance function; through both developing the team, and the implementation of technology to support ongoing efficiencies.
