Our client, a well known business in Reading, seeks an interim Financial Controller for a 6 month contract. Reporting to the Group Finance Director and managing a team, you will take ownership of transactional accounting - accounts payable, banking (including treasury), payroll and employee expenses, as well as monthly reporting to management (P&L, balance sheet and cashflow) and statutory reporting for multiple entities in the UK. Applicants should be fully qualified, ideally large practice trained and come from a strong financial controlling background. Experience of working in a multiple entity business is key as is reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Due to team management responsibilities, it is key that this individual is able to demonstrate strong leadership, mentoring and development skills.
