Robert Half are delighted to be working with our public sector client to actively recruit an experienced accounts assistant for their finance team, based at the Gyle, Edinburgh. This is best suited to someone with at least 1 year accounting/finance experience. This role will be on a temporary basis, until the middle of 2020 on a full time basis only. Role: - Raising sales invoices & credit notes - Monitoring and reconciling credit cards - Raising internally invoices / cross charges - Managing ledgers; Sales/Purchase - Assisting with credit control when needed - Assisting with payroll where required - Assisting with management accounts prep where required Profile: - Preferably 1 year of practical hands on accounting experience - AAT qualified or part qual ACCA/CIMA. HND qualifications - Computerliterate; Microsoft products, especially excel. - High attention to detail; Strong numerical understanding - Excellent spoken and written communication skills - Maintain the company brand and image through all external and internal communications Salary & Benefits: - £10.00£12.00 per hour DOE - Holiday pay accrued hourly at 12.07% - Parking available free of charge - Membership benefits Public Sector The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
