Summary My client is a globally recognised manufacturing company with a distinctive reputation for excellence. They are now looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their busy team. This is a rare opportunity within a business that genuinely nurtures team succession and champions its employees. The successful candidate will work alongside one of the most friendly and impressive FC's in the region, whilst delivering in an all encompassing position that will involve taking ownership of all accounting functions and supporting team junior members where necessary. Responsibilities:
Compilation of period end financial statements Prepare statutory accounts and tax accounts Provide cashflow forecasts Assist in business critical decision making Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley legislation Submit Business KPI's Liaise with numerous HOD's when recording and reporting company KPI's Offer business partnering capability to non-financial management team Key skills and Experience: Candidates must be qualified or Finalists (minimum) in ACCA or CIMA Previous accounting experience within a manufacturing environment is essential for this position, if you do not have this, please do not apply Must display diligence and a keen eye for detail, recognising and avoiding potential business risks Candidates must be driven and show initiative when managing their own and others workload Candidates must be able to implement and follow procedures, often this will be a case of leading by example If you would like to apply for this opportunity, please submit an up-to-date CV including details about your current or most recent salary and your availability / notice period.
