Group Finance Systems Accountant Required for Glasgow Business Fyte are partnering with a Glasgow based firm in their search for a Systems Accountant to join the finance department. Closely liaising with the Management Accountant and IT Teams as well as other areas of the business, the successful candidate likely be a fully qualified Systems Accountant with experience working with SAP. Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to provide support from a systems perspective to the management accounting team to ensure that the data integrity of financial reporting is correct and accurate. They will also: Ensure system financial controls are robust, working with controls and governance Support continuous improvement initiatives Provide front line support to the business for all financial systems matters Design, develop and deliver exception reports to ensure integrity of the financials Leverage existing systems to develop clear transparent key performance indicators for operational departments Previous Experience: The successful candidate will likely be a fully qualified accountant with experience in a Systems Accountant position, and have an excellent understanding of SAP. Knowledge of Business Objects and Business Warehouse report writing is essential as is a strong understanding of how systems interlink and data flow is achieved. You will be expected to business partner with other areas of the company including IT and Operations. Salary on offer is up to £45,000 and this is a permanent opportunity.
