Seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a popular international fashion brand based in London. Known for their high profile branding and luxury merchandise, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected company in the retail industry. Duties include; Managing a team of 2 junior AP clerks Managing the whole Accounts Payable process Elevate the existing team, showing best practice and following all policy procedures Key player in accounting system developments relating to Accounts Payable, as well as implementing new procedures to improve performance Produce month end reports and reconciliations including statement recs Hold periodic meetings with direct reports to ensure they are on target Ensure all departmental objectives are met To qualify for this position, you must have experience managing a team. The ideal candidate will also have gained experience working with stock accounts (retail, e-commerce or wholesale background) and been involved with the implementation of a new system or process improvement. You will have worked in AP for a minimum of 4 years and have excellent Excel and system skills.
