Collinson Group is hiring a Finance Business Partner - Projects to join us during this exciting transformational period. This role will give you the unique opportunity to work across our Group and will focus on business partnering with our Divisions to support best in class project investment decision making. Key aspects of the role will be enhancing project investment reporting, building key stakeholder relationships and driving project accountability within each Division. Key responsibilities but not limited to:
• Produce high quality presentation and interpretation of financial results - from cost centre management through to Board reporting - on a timely basis.
• Deliver clear project performance analysis and insight - providing both support and challenge.
• Identify and ensure delivery of appropriate KPIs and analysis, ensuring processes are clear and efficient in order to improve efficiency and add value.
• Clear articulation of future implications of current performance and develop key senior stakeholder relationships to identify appropriate corrective actions where necessary, driving and ensuring accountability in the process.
• Develop appropriate finance processes and governance to support and strengthen appraisal process.
• Assist with the preparation of business cases, providing commercial finance support as required.
• Track and measure individual project investment performance to enable timely and informed decision making.
• Develop insight and value-add for the monthly reporting pack and producing ad-hoc analysis identifying key areas of opportunity / improvement. Profile The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of working within a matrix organisation. You will demonstrate an eagerness to learn and develop in a varied role that will require you to adapt and manage in a changing environment. The successful candidate will have:
• Strong experience of project financial control and reporting gained in a large organisation
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
• Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at exercising own judgement
• Strong stakeholder management skills along with excellent influencing and communication skills
• Advanced excel skills focused on scenario modelling
• Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
• Previous exposure to Agile project methodology
• Excellent organisational skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• A confident, down to earth, hands on and pragmatic individual
