A large business in St Albans are looking for an ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified Accountant to join as Assistant Financial Controller and support the business in all aspects of balance sheet integrity, month end process, budgeting and forecasting. This will be a role that adds value as the company are going through extensive growth and require accurate accounting information to make commercially sensitive decisions. The company are based in St Albans, offer parking, and development within a busy and large accounts team with senior managers that are dedicated to get the best from the individuals within the team. As they have grown a number of individuals have moved to more senior roles internally. Job Spec: Manage balance sheet entries Responsible for financial accounting entries Query resolution Manage P&L accounts Compare variances against budgets Ensure tight control over financial accounting and transactional entries Assist external auditors Support process improvement Person spec: Experience in industry Post qualification experience ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified Management accounting experience Month end reporting Excellent systems and excel
