Credit Controller Leicester Permanent £18,000 - £23,000 SF Recruitment are working with a client based in Leicester seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their excellent Finance department. The following Credit Controller will be: - Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors - Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers' credit ratings with insurers - Ensuring timely payment of debts - Following up payments as needed - Posting of bank receipts to accounting system - Sending of monthly statements to customers and dealing with queries resulting from this - liaising with internal managers in relation to account managed customers to ensure these debts are dealt with The successful Credit Controller MUST have the below qualities: - Credit Control or Collections experience (2 years) - Able to work towards targets focused environment - Understanding of aged debt on a business is desirable - A proven track record of negotiating under pressure - Able to work independently as well as part of a team - Microsoft including Excel If you are interested in this position, please apply with your most up to date CV.
