SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger on a full-time permanent basis working for a large company based in Leicester. The role is to start as soon as possible. As an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger your duties will include: - Entering stock onto Sage from delivery note - Matching Delivery Note to Invoice and entering onto Sage - Raising debit notes for scrap/rejects to suppliers - Checking system agrees to supplier statements - Preparing invoices for payment - Ad hoc purchase ledger reports - Answering the telephone, dealing with invoice enquiries - Evening post and cheque pay-ins at the post office - General support to the wider team The successful candidate: - Previous experience within a similar role is preferable - Excellent working knowledge of SAGE and Excel - Ability to multitask and prioritise workload - Experience of working with Purchase Ledgers is essential - Strong communication stills This Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger role is working 39 hours a week, Monday to Friday. The position is a permanent role and the pay will be between £9 and £9.50 per hour depending on experience.
